Beginner Guide to journalling #2

Hi Friend,

The world can feel like quite a negative place at times. There is so much in our lives that can put us in a stress spiral. Pandemics, rising costs of day-to-day life, work demands, family demands, trying to balance everything you need to do.

And that's just the external factors. There are also days when your emotions may simply get the better of you for a plethora of reasons.

You may have heard the benefits of a Gratitude diary/journal, it's great for appreciating what you have right now. Have you ever thought about the people that you are thankful for in your life?

Beginner Journaling Tip #2


Who are the people in your life right now that genuinely hype you up and simply put a smile on your face when you see them or hear from them?

They give you energy, stay optimistic about any of your ideas and make you feel happy and appreciated.

1. Write each of these people down

2. Write why you think each is a positive influence in your life right now.

Write as much or as little as you like, and see where your mind takes you in gratitude for this person. You can choose whether or not to share the writing with them, or keep a stocktake of the various people that come into your life along the way.

Try it for one week.

Set a timer, choose one person per day, and see what happens in a mental shift.

You also have just created your go-to list of Hype teams to contact on the days you may not feel so flash and need a coffee date, walk with them, or simply a phone call/text.
