This week I'll be sharing one of my favorite ways to incorporate whole core training.
What do I mean by this?
A lot of the time society makes us believe our core is purely the muscles in the front of our stomach - the ABS...
I'm sure we have all seen the infomercials of "ab-blaster", "ab-cruncher", "ab-glider" or since covid the "quarantine destroyer", seriously it is a thing!
But our core is so much more than the 6-pack that is portrayed in media.
Our core is the stability and strength of our whole torso. It's the bridge that connects the upper body to the lower body. Envision a cylinder with rounded sides a top and bottom.
This week I introduce you to the Animal Flow® movement called the Under-switch.
Simply put it's our transition from Beast to Crab and Crab to Beast.
It utilises this whole cylinder of core, along with shoulder stability and
I'd advise doing some wrist prep before getting onto the floor from last week's Blog.
This week give the Underswitch a whirl.
