So where did you venture outside last week?
I hope these simple little tips are bringing some positive vibes through your month of May. As we start to inch closer to winter having recognized some tools that help shift the mood can be really beneficial.
This week is something a little different. Still brings positivity but is potentially something you may not have thought of.
MOOD BOOSTING TIP #7 - LEARN SOMETHING
This can be anything new!
A movement skill, a language, an instrument, learn salsa dancing, read up on a topic of interest, or listen to a podcast. When we learn we are challenging our brain, either to think about a different perspective or physically asking it to learn something you haven't been exposed to. It can also give a sense of accomplishment once something is unlocked.
MOOD BOOSTING TIP #8 - SHARE KNOWLEDGE
Now, this can be a continuation of something you learned or passed on, or, simply share something you know that could benefit someone else.
You don't have to give away all of your prize knowledge nuggets that you have spent time and money acquiring and skill developing. It could be as complex or as simple as you like. We as humans are complex but we thrive on community, sharing is part of building connections with fellow humans. We all have skillsets and strengths, what you find easy and a no-brainer may be different to someone else. You never know what skill sets you'll need one day, sharing yours can expose you to someone whose skill set you may need in the future.
